OIL COOLERS
I thought there was a previous discussion on oil coolers, but I can't find it. Interested in non-VW coolers. The best ones you have found by actual expericence - not just advertisements. Thanks in advance

Re: FV carb set up
FV racers might not have to change jets once the carb is dialed in if they run around sea level but come out to Colorado and see if your jetting is good. I agree with most everything that Jim at SR said except the half jet size per 500 feet of elevation change. That would make a 220 main at 500 feet...

Re: Showcase nationals
Maybe we can set up some races at the local tracks around Road America on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday instead of just standing around and wasting money on food and motels for 3 extra days at the Runoffs. Look at the schedule in Fastrack. MY VORTECH IS "REALLY" FOR SALE NOW!!

I have one that mounts the oil cooler horizontal instead of vertical. Bought from this site without asking questions - it is for a Lazer style car. $15.00 plus shipping. Bob

Steve, I was thinking all week that single car qualifying would be the only fair way at Road America. I guarantee you would have started the race better than where you did.

I did the same thing that Greg (Problemchild) did with needle nose pliers - worked better than the 2 or 3 snap ring pliers I bought or borrowed.
