Re: Minimum Weight Survey
Where do you fill out the survey? I would vote for 1050 at least. My son and I take turns with the car at hill climbs and I road race and neither of us can make minimum. I'm 6'1 and he's 6'2 or more and thin, was a recent HS athlete, etc. and he can't make minimum in the car at about 180lbs. I'm out...

Re: SRF vs VEE
I have to add my $.02 on this one. During the Spring Drivers School at Summit Point I got punted by an SRF. I did the Fall School in 2008 and it was all formula cars (FV, FF, FC, FE, etc.) and I don't recall any car to car contact. At the Spring 2009 school there were at least 5 SRF's with us. I was...

Sports Racing Category and Formula Cars The fuel bladder shall be completely surrounded by a container (which may also be a part of the structure or bodywork of the car) to ensure rig...

I have also had some trouble with the fluorescent lights. Again this weekend, slight drop-no light. LED's are probably the way to go anymore.

Re: SEDiv (SARRC) FV Drivers
Those ideas look good for FV in general.
Especially the weight.
The gas makes it a little more affordable.
The tires would save money.

Re: Sticky throttle cable
I know this thread is old, but I had problems 2 race weekends recently. The first one ended in a spin out and crash when the car wouldn't slow down after a straight. The 2 springs are at the carb to make sure the thottle gets cut back if the cable breaks. I do believe I saw it in the GCR somewhere. ...
