Re: Jefferson results
problem was not in trans, well it was due to loose flywheel, three races on rebuild, engine builder has it again, new crank and flywheel coming. flywheel wobble caused pilot shaft seal to leak. builder to remain unnamed on here.

Re: Towing with a Vanagon?
my concern would be stopping it, wireing a brake controller in a vanagon would be interesting, but I'm sure it can be done. my brother towed many a motorcycles behind a 84 westy, stock motor, with the upgraded one, should be no problem, easy on hills

an air tank or small compresser, to add air to tires. glass cleaner, visor after each session, rain suit of some kind, if you not ready for it it will rain. In my 3 day school, I used 15 gal. of gas on top of full cell at the start, filled car, brought 10 of av. gas had to buy 5 gal of track gas. Ro...

the one that came with my car is about 5" it is really small, has a real deep dish to it too. I could not steer the car with that small wheel( I drive one handed due to stroke) I'll get photos of it, would sell it.

I have the standard, wide angle go pro. works great on the vee, I take it scuba diving too, good to 100' it eats batteries, I use lith. batteries, but only good for 1 session. the HD was not out when I got mine, would have went that way, the wide angle is great mounted on roll bar, diving not so gre...

I was talking about a real scuba tank, I dive too, I have an extra first stage reg, the part that hooks to the tank, with air hose, and quick disconnect for air tools. I get them filled, (have 2) at my local dive shop, about $5 each. the tanks get used for diving more than racing. the down side is y...

A TT is your best bet. if you plan on doing the double school at RRR then you can learn the track, Mark and I did the same school.
