SOLD!! Carb
Carb for sale. I have no idea how good this carb is but I don't think it is a top national carb. Both studs have been helicoiled and one was not done very well because it is at a slight angle. It also needs a main jet carrier. You can tell that I'm not talking it up but I'm only asking $50 obo! Emai...

Re: Autowerks Engine will del to SP free
Someone should really buy this motor. For only $2,250 it is a steal!! It may not be a top national motor now but there is no reason why Dave Carr can't make it better at a later date. Run it for a season and get it rebuilt over the winter. I sold it to Ed because I had an opportunity to buy a motor ...

SOLD!! Protoform P3 For Sale
I'm selling my 2004 Protoform P3 but this is not a standard P3. I have done a lot of development work with this car and the car has a redesigned nose that only allows the air to go above and below the axle beam and I have also developed and fitted side pods to further guide the air. This is certainl...

Re: Data classes or data club
I was able to apply a lot of the things I learned from John's seminar at my last race weekend and it really showed me that I was just scratching the surface when looking at my data before taking the seminar. Definitely worth the money!

New Advertiser
All, Please note the new advertiser (Auto-Ware) at the top of the page for data acquisition training. I just finished one of John Block's online seminars and found it very helpful. If you have a data system and you aren't sure if you have gotten the most out of it then you should consider taking one...

Re: R.I.P. Bill Noble
Bill was really a great guy and there are some great stories about him that if written down would make a great book. I have been around FV racing for 16 years now and I'm still hearing new stories about Bill. For a lot of us he was one of the main reasons why we were able to get involved with FV rac...

Re: Pre-Novice Questions - Multiple Categories
Hi Glenn, I think that you are better off to take the school in a car similar to what you plan on racing. This is the best way to find out if you are really going to like it. If you rent then you can get with the folks that you are renting the car from prior to the school and get fitted in the car i...

Re: Pre-Novice Questions - Multiple Categories
Hi Glenn, First, welcome to the FV community! I'm located in Sterling, VA and although I have been only entering National races recently, I can tell you that the MARRS series is one of the most competitive regional series in the US with a great bunch of drivers supporting it. I haven't raced in the ...

Re: Official FV Discussion: SCCA Runoffs 2010
Hi Dave,
Don't sweat it. Unfortunately this is one of the byproducts of racing. You aren't the first to lose a valve cover without knowing it and you won't be the last! It was good meeting you and your son at the Womer party!
Regards,
Ray

Re: Official FV Discussion: SCCA Runoffs 2010
Congrats to Rick Shields for winning the RunOffs -- not an easy thing to do! Also congrats to Roger and Brandon for 2nd and 3rd. From what I hear it was one hell of a finish and I can't wait to watch the video at speedcasttv.com. Congrats to Dave Carr for having two engines at the front as well!! Ri...
