Steve
When I go to MotorSports Reg and look at the entered it only lists 13 cars total.
Is this correct?
I have not signed up yet.

I agree with Brian. The area where the shoes actually contact can develop a burr that can be removed with a file. The shoe will catch on the burr and will not return.

Shipping information
Some of you may know of various ways to ship heavy things by trucking companies.
I have just run across the website "www.freightcenter.com". It is the expedia of shipping companies. It saved me $80 on shipping an engine.

Re: Hoosier tire bead seating?
I have had the same problem as everyone else. There is a product called "Bead Seal" available at NAPA and a few other auto parts stores. Check the web site of the auto parts stores around you and pick up a can. Break the bead and paint a coat on the bead and reseal. One trip to the auto pa...

I am planning to haul out from Utah to participate in the 50th birthday at Roebling Road. I am also planning to participate in the major at VIR 2 weeks later. Thanks Steve, but I already tried that and they would not pass the information along.
I hoped that some one would see this thread and pass the information.
I will try another method.

Do you think you are going to add weight to make minimum weight?
If so, the belly pan is a good place to add weight.

Re: Good tach recommendation
The tach neddle broke in my AutoMeter on my 20 year old car. I sent it back to Autometer expecting to pay for the repairs.
They sent the repaired tach back with a no-charge bill and they paid the freight.
What more can I say.

Re: National at Miller Motor Sports Park
The entry list is up to 7 vees and only 1 SRF. As you remember they did a split start Sunday which was much better. By the time the leader srf got up to us it was much better. The back marker srf never got to us. At high plains the only problem with srf and split start was two srf got together and t...

I am beginning to know how Kermit felt when he said “It is not easy being green”. I am the only FV in Utah that is racing. I am trying to push the advantages of FV but can not overcome the lack of competition. I can and do cross over the Rockies and run with those on the east side of the mountains. ...

Short Oil Filter
I have SR oil filter block and use a standard FL400A filter.
Is there a short filter with the same specs that can be used?
I would like to fabricate a puke can that would fit in the space a short filter would free up.
