Did Varacins get the lap record?

Previous lap record was from 2006, with 2:41.988 by Brad Stout. Mike's fastest race lap was a 2:44.196, so running out there all alone without a draft, he didn't come close in race trim. His qualifying time of 2:41.374 was under the lap record, though.
