My dad (Brian Jennerjahn) turned 70 today. About 6 weeks before the runoffs and after 34 years of FV racing, he decided that this year's 2010 Runoffs would be his last race. (Even though he finished on the podium for the 2009 runoffs.)
I sent him a card today telling him that the great thing about being 70 is that you are young enough to keep racing and old enough to forget that you told everyone you were going to quit. If the forgetfulness doesn't kick in, I am hoping I can convince him to pull a Favre.
