With LRE no longer rebuilding transaxles, can others weigh in with your favorite trans specialist and their location, please? I find myself in need of a rebuild.
Thanks,
Charlie

Brian McCarthy in Sacramento, CA!
Re: Transaxle overhaul
I second the vote for Brian McCarthy. His transmissions are fantastic.

Depends where you live - if you want to save on transportation costs
On the East Coast you have Steve at Vee Sport Racing.

Almost forgot, his number is 916-712-5742. He's also on the SCCA Board of Directors if you want to give him a hard time about anything.

IIRC, the Satterley's bought Bob's shop and Bob taught them his 'stuff'. They should be able to take care of you as well.

Ummm.. My bad - it was Joe and Alex Bertolucci. I think Alex posts here some times, but you can reach him at abertolu81 @ gmail.com

Re: Transaxle overhaul
Bertolucci's did one of ours and it was fine. We are sending them a couple more. I have no doubt that Brian would do a good job also, so it comes down to shipping costs and turnaround time.
Re: Transaxle overhaul
We (Alex and Joe Bertolucci) bought the transmission side of LRE and Bob and Jeff trained us. We are located just outside of Chicago, IL.
