A word to the wise - the cops around Roebling always seem to be in force whenever racers are in town. They set up static and moving radar speed traps, Ku band, both CW and Instant On. They sometimes operate two cars in tandem - one with his radar blaring goes by at speed, while the next lurks behind waiting for folks to speed up.
As for myself, I usually do all I can to avoid Pooler all together - take the Jimmy Deloach parkway around it. And needless to say the Vanentine One is always on.

True enough. Pooler, and Bloomingdale just west of it, are indeed speed traps, even on the interstate (I-16)

If you are traveling from Macon on I-16 the troopers also seem to patrol around the Dublin, Ga. area from mile marker 45 to 75ish. There is a rest area near mile marker 48 and several places to eat and gas up at Dublin exits 49 and 51 there is another gas stop area around 104 or so.
