I have a 1967 Autodynamics mk.IV Vintage VeeI am redoing. It came with a stock vw oil cooler mounted to the roll
bar which will be directly behind my helmet. Is there a better place to mount the cooler.

I do not think that the cooler mounted on the roll bar is STOCK- I believe it is aftermarket as the stock cooler mounts to the top of the engine.
Before relocating I would check to be sure that the organization that you plan to run with ALLOWS a remote cooler in vintage. Some still require that you run the stock cooler mounted to the engine in the stock location.
Hope this helps
