You know I am getting close to finishing up because of all the questions....

I am building the brake system. I bought a new piece of 3/16 brake line and tested it on the T fitting on the front and also on the back of the frame and it threaded in and seated just fine. When I checked the T-fittings, one had VW on it and the other had FAG. Both should be metric. Is the metric size used on the hard lines of a stock VW the same as 3/16? Scratching my head on this one....

I think I found the problem... Bought the hard line from Advance parts. The label on it is a little misleading. It says 3/16 but it also says 4.7mm. You have to look at a second label to figure out which one you have in your hand. Guess which one I had?
