What is the typical Lime Rock Regional race weekend schedule? Say the mid June Regional. Is it a one day event? Is there practice and qualifying sessions then a race?

Re: Lime Rock Schedules
Usually correct. Lime Rock cannot run on Sunday, before 10 am on Friday, or after 6pm on any day, so a typical weekend is Friday/Saturday.Veefan wrote:.....A typical weekend includes one race....
Friday - 2 qualifying practice sessions
Saturday - 1 hardship/warmup, 1 race (length subject to entries and time.)
However, One day regionals are not unheard of - 10 minutes practice and qualifying and 20 minute races are the norm here.
NER Region has been very progressive lately on trying different things, and I notice for June they have a proposed Friday one session practice/qualifying (mixed with a restricted driving school) and Saturday a qualifying race and a "main" race.
If you have National License, then the National will give you the best track time, albeit with National Fords and 500 blowing by
The schedule is not finalized until the Spring Roundtable, so you might want to wait if making travel plans...
