As many of you know by now, the racing community has lost a great champion at a young age. Dan Wheldon has succombed to injuries sustained in a 15 car crash yesterday at the age of 33.

A week earlier, we lost Bill Dalton. Bill was working a race at Blackhawk Farms Raceway on the 8th when he was felled by an apparent heart attack. Bill was a long time chief of tech for VSCDA, and worked tech for Midwest Council and SCCA as well.

Please pray for their souls and families.

RIP Dan Wheldon and thoughts are with his Family, hopefully now INDY will stop racing on OVALS,especially with that many cars which are way to fast for oval racing especially in an open wheel/open cockpit situation.
