I haven't raced the Vee since the October 2014 regional at Thompson...just got back from Pocono driving in Challenge Cup; had a great time!!
The Faulkens make driving the Vee a whole different experience. The group had a vibe like "the old days" in FV.
I encourage all that can to give it a try!

Re: Pocono Challenge Cup Series
Hello Dietmar!
The Pocono race is here. Other info at the home site; http://challengecupseries.com/index.php ... ces/race-4
My impression of the tires are:
Lots of feedback (noise)
Break away quickly, but somewhat forgiving
Cheap (compared to slicks)
Sexy (compared to slicks)
Slower acceleration (due to weight)
About 2 to 3 seconds a lap slower than slicks for the same car with a 1:50 second Faulken lap
Overall: I like them. A non-VW spec manifold would complete the picture IMHO.
