Ok gentlemen and ladies,
I am brand new to this forum. I put in over 200 hours of seat time in those stupid 24 hours of lemons races, but now i want to try formula V, most likely vintage. So I will have lots of questions!
The first is: how big can a driver be? and still fit? I'm a big fella, 6'1" & 220 lbs, and I'm wondering if I could even fit in the cockpit, and shift/ brake etc?
someone please tell me it will be Ok (I recognize the weight will probably be a big handicap in this class - I assume a bunch of you are retired jockeys!)
Driver size?

Re: Driver size?
There are some big guys in F Vee. Really depends on what car you pick.
Re: Driver size?
Sure, you can fit.
I was 6'4 in my 20's and weighed about 205. Tight but doable.
When I raced a few years ago I was still 6'4 and about 215. Very tight, but that all depends upon the car. Choose by sitting in some cars being raced by people of similar size.
Good luck. You can do it.
